The role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and modifying a web based front-end to Freezerworks, from layout to function and according to written specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Member of a small development team responsible for complete SDLC of Freezerworks

  • Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • The position requires constant communication with colleagues
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used to access and update database applications
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with API’s and Web Applications built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position

Job Description:
  • Develop, publish, and implement test plans based on Acceptance Criteria and Technical Specifications
  • Write and execute manual tests
  • Create and maintain QA test environments
  • Verify the quality of features and fixes from development team
  • Use Jira to write and track defect reports
  • Coordinate and perform a numerous QA tasks on a daily basis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years of experience in quality assurance, writing test cases/scripts
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, including Agile development practices
  • Strong ability to identify, isolate, and reproduce defects, with and without guidance
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Proficient with Windows and Mac Operating Systems
Beneficial Experience:
  • API testing
  • Web testing
  • Automated testing
  • Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking database

Full-time. Salary range $45 – $55,000, depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing …
As a “Product Support I” you will be offering assistance and troubleshooting to clients in the “Base” edition of our Freezerworks software platform. The expectations after training period are that as a Level 1 support rep, you will have a working knowledge of the various software tools used by the Support Team and an excellent understanding of Freezerworks: Base edition. You should also have a good understanding of the additional offerings in our higher end editions of the software.

Daily activities include …
  • Phone Support/Triage Level for our Base edition of Freezerworks
  • Case Creation in Salesforce.com
  • Implementation Assistance with new client installations
  • Reproduce Errors found by clients with in-house copy of Freezerworks
  • Validate Errors for QA and Development Team when needed
  • Send Installation Email and Instructions
  • Assist Sales Department with technical assistance as needed.
