Web Applications Developer QA Analyst

The role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and modifying a web based front-end to Freezerworks, from layout to function and according to written specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Member of a small development team responsible for complete SDLC of Freezerworks

  • Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • The position requires constant communication with colleagues
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used to access and update database applications
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with API’s and Web Applications built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position

Freeezerworks is seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join the quality assurance team at our offices in Mountlake Terrace. Please be a hard-working self-starter who is not afraid of a fast-paced environment, helping produce software for laboratories worldwide, researching everything from cancer and AIDS to agriculture and environmental conservation.

Job Description:
  • Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for a commercial off the shelf software product sold worldwide to the healthcare and medical research communities.
  • Writes and maintains test automation where possible
  • Assists in developing quality assurance standards
  • Assists in defining and tracking quality assurance metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of experience coding
  • Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
Needed Skills:
  • Able to analyze trends in test results and extrapolate corrective and preventative actions
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Able to coordinate and perform a variety of tasks
Works under general supervision of QA Manager, with some latitude
