The sales process involves in-depth needs analysis, design of proposed solutions in configurable software application, and formal presentations of developed solutions. You must have the ability to adapt solutions in a wide variety of fields and communicate effectively to lab personnel and CEOs alike.

  • Fact finding phone calls with prospective users
  • Configuration of Freezerworks software for custom demo presentations
  • Live software presentations via web meetings
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders via phone, web, and email
  • Develop and manage opportunity pipeline in CRM
  • Occasional travel to industry trade shows and client meetings

The role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and modifying a web based front-end to Freezerworks, from layout to function and according to written specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Member of a small development team responsible for complete SDLC of Freezerworks

  • Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • The position requires constant communication with colleagues
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used to access and update database applications
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with API’s and Web Applications built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position

Job Duties
  • Collaborate with Developers and QA personnel to devise test strategies based on documentation and acceptance criteria
  • Work with the QA team to automate manual testing where feasible
  • Create, maintain, and execute automated Freezerworks API test plans
  • Create, maintain, and execute automated Freezerworks Web Client test plans
  • Create, maintain, and execute performance testing and benchmarking
  • Provide status reports and test results to the QA Management team
  • File bug reports in JIRA
  • Explore and implement general automation into the Freezerworks development process
  • Actively research new tools and methods to increase test efficiency and product quality
  • Assist in manual testing when necessary
Qualifications:
  • BS in computer sciences or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years working as an SDET or Automation Engineer
  • 5+ years working in a QA role
  • Strong coding skills with object-oriented languages such as: Java, JavaScript, C#
  • Experience with Relational Databases
Beneficial Experience:
  • JMeter, Postman, or other automated testing tool experience
  • Writing and executing scripts in Selenium
  • REST API testing experience
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with TestRail or similar test management tool
  • Experience with JIRA or similar bug/feature database

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000, depending on experience.
